University of Wisconsin Whitewater Transition Perspectives College Day Report
The Transitions Perspective program provides an opportunity to introduce the topics of transition, college, and career awareness to eighth-graders in southern/southeastern Wisconsin school districts. The main event for this program was a College Day at the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater held on October 20, 2022. This report provides a summary of this College Day.
Transition Perspectives College Day Event: Creating the Experience
The primary goal for the Transition Perspectives Program was to expose students with disabilities to a college campus and new career interests. This resource describes key elements of the Transition Perspectives Event along with resources for other campuses to implement a similar event.
